General Information New Vision University is a Semi private college, located in Tbilisi Georgia. The Medical Doctor's Program of the New Vision University was granted accreditation by Resolution N9156 of Educational Program Accreditation Board, dated 5 November 2013. The university has a large and distinguished faculty to support its missions of education, research, and clinical care.

The Objective: To train specialists, according to International standards so that they will be able to continue their studies in residency or for doctorate programs.

The Outcome: Graduates will be able to pursue their studies in residency or for doctorate. The graduate is required to be able to give consultation, assess clinical cases, assign investigations, conduct differential diagnoses, discuss disease management plans, provide first-aid and reanimate in case of emergencies, prescribe medicines,  conduct  practical  procedures,  use ethical  and  legal  principals in  medical  practice,  assess psychological and social factors concerning patient's disease and put into effective medical practice and research the information and medical technologies and to conduct relevant activities in social healthcare. Therefore, a graduate should be able to work effectively in healthcare system and produce team work skills and communication skills in both native and foreign languages with an urgent desire to pursue and acquire all innovative methods and ways that will help with further adaptation and independent working.

The Structure of the program: The program includes 360 credits. The whole course lasts 5 years. It includes 15 weeks and 10 semesters with additional 4 week of doctor and nurse training practice.
Field of employment: Opportunity to work as a junior doctor, participation in pedagogical and scientific activities, participation in medical theory, which is a pre-requisite for pursuing studies in residency and for doctorate programs.

New Vision University- Admission Process

The fascination and affirmation of remote, imminent students is led in collaboration with authority delegates, having official concurrences with New Vision University and important specialists. Agreements between the New Vision University and official representatives include, applicants have no other aims except for the aim to receive medical education while staying in the Georgia.

Arrival and training expenses of foreign students at New Vision University include Admission fee, Tuition fee, Hostel Accommodation fee. Living expenses of foreign students in Georgia including food, extension of visa and registration fee as well as other expenses must be covered by students on their own, in compliance with university rules and procedures.

New Vision University- Admission Requirements:

• Students must Completed intermediate with Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English.
• 50% rating score.
• Admission fee (is not returned on violation).
• Paying capacity.

• Medical reference - 086 form, (medical inspection can be provided in the Medical Center of TMA)

• 10 photographs (3x4cm)

How to Apply for New Vision University

Passport and visa procedures : If you have decided to study at the New Vision University, you need to have the following when entering Georgia:

• Authorization on entry given on NVU application.
• Consideration of request on visa support by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia during 1 month
• Entry visa can be given out in diplomatic representation missions and consular departments of Georgia or consular agency at airport.

After you have arrived at NVU: 

• Your passport shall be registered by Ministry of Interior of Georgia within 5 days from the date of arrival, excluding holidays and weekends.
• Assistance in registration and visa extension will be provided.
• Passports must be presented to the Department of International Affairs, 1 month before the expiration of visa.
• Failure to meet registration and visa terms results in fine, set by Ministry of Interior of Georgia.

Deadline for admission

• Fall semester - Until 25 October
• Spring semester - Until 25 ''February
